INTROVERT LIFESTYLE

How to create a softer life in a world obsessed with the grind

You’ve worked so hard in your professional and personal life - sometimes at the expense of your well-being - to meet extroverted standards. And maybe it worked for a while. But it doesn’t work for you anymore.

And that’s perfectly alright.

IT'S POSSIBLE - LET ME SHOW YOU HOW

I don’t know about you, but I was taught that putting myself first is selfish.
Instead, I was taught to cater to other people regardless of how I felt.

I applied this philosophy to my career and relationships, and it got me far… until I ran out of (metaphorical) gas. But even when it became too much, I still struggled with the possibility of putting myself first. Maybe you’re feeling this too.

One of the main reasons why I resisted was that I actually didn’t know how to balance my internal needs and the external demands on my energy.

I had spent decades wholly living for others, and I didn’t know how to scale it back. Turns out that no one had ever taught me how to set priorities in my own life. I had to learn.

You see, building a life well-suited for your introversion isn’t about becoming a recluse. It is about learning when to give and when to take.

It is about knowing when the moment calls for a boundary (and feeling empowered to enforce it)... AND having a plan to come back to yourself (to rest, recharge, recalibrate) when you inevitably have to meet life’s demands.

It is about creating a sanctuary that you can retreat to, but also knowing when to step outside for connection.

Being an introvert is not about harsh lines. It’s about dancing between what our extroverted culture asks of you and the call of your intuition.
